I am a life coach, trainer and management consultant based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire but working across the UK. I specialise in personal development, communications skills, presentation training and conflict resolution but work in most areas of life and management coaching for individuals and organisations.

Background & Training

My background was originally in behavioural psychology and communications.  I used this training in pursuit of a career in marketing and social research. After roles at Terry's of York, Dunlop, Grattan and Leeds ad agency Charles Walls, I launched my own firm (Quaestor) in 1986 and developed this into a top 20 UK consultancy before selling my interests in it in 1993.  I then undertook further training and qualified as a counsellor/psychotherapist, obtaining my Master's degree from Leeds University in 1997. I later added to this with a comprehensive training in neurolinguistic programming (NLP) over a period of a further three years.

I combine my training and my own experiences as a business developer with an in-depth understanding of people and their motivations to help in both healthcare and management settings. I have worked within the NHS at a large inner city health centre in Manchester, in the Psychology department of Calderdale Royal and with a large number of private individuals ranging from newly appointed graduates to directors, partners, chair people and chief execs in organisations both small and large. I also undertake research work in the public and private sectors.
